Adult content site sues Google

Adult content site and magagize, Perfect10, initiated a lawsuit against Google for providing links to over 800,000 of its images. Perfect 10 runs an adult paysite. Through its "images" search, surfers had a way to access its content for free.

The suit was filed in Los Angeles county in November. Perfect10 asserts 12 counts of intellectual property violations against its magazine and web site. Some say it is a publicity stunt. But there might well be some standing for a suit. Just the same, using Google's image search function amounts to a needle in the haystack for those seeking to access Perfect10's images.
